Complete Your Required Training on Time

You must finish the 16-hour mandated courses within 30 days of starting your job.

A total of 32 hours of continuing education is required within 6 months of your start date.

To become a fully licensed security guard, you need to complete 40 hours of training (this includes the 8 hours from Step 1: Guard Card) within those 6 months.

If you don’t complete the required training on time, your employer could face fines.
